The recent floods also caused significant damage to WorldLink’s network and infrastructure. According to preliminary estimates, the company has suffered direct losses of around Rs. 35 million.

Despite the substantial damage to its own infrastructure, WorldLink acted promptly to prevent customers and communities from being deprived of internet services for an extended period. The company restored its affected network and resumed services within three days of the floods.

Even as roads, electricity and other infrastructure were disrupted by the disaster, WorldLink’s technical teams and other relevant personnel remained continuously engaged in repairing and restoring the affected network.
