1st October 2026, Kathmandu: At a time when interest in electric vehicles is continuously increasing in Nepal, Wuling, a globally established automobile brand manufactured by the world-renowned SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) joint venture, which is also associated with General Motors, has been addressing the needs of different customers in the Nepali market through its electric vehicles. Wuling currently offers three different categories of electric models in Nepal, Eksion, Mini EV and Darion.

Three Models for Different Needs Wuling Eksion
Wuling Eksion is a five-plus-two-seater electric SUV that brings power, efficiency and versatility together in a single package. The Eksion is equipped with a 69.2 kWh battery, a range of up to 530 kilometres, a 150 kW motor and 310 Nm of torque.
Wuling Mini EV
The Wuling Mini EV is a compact electric car with 4 doors and 4 seats, designed for everyday urban use. Introduced with the concept “Fun Every Day, For Everyone,” the Mini EV features a 25.1 kWh battery, a claimed range of up to 301 kilometres on a single charge, a 30 kW motor and four-seat capacity.
Wuling Darion
Similarly, Wuling Darion is presented as a seven-seater MPV for family-oriented use, offering additional space and practicality. It is equipped with a 69.2 kWh battery, a range of up to 540 kilometres, a 150 kW motor and 310 Nm of torque. With its seven-seat configuration, the vehicle is designed to provide greater practicality for family journeys as well as everyday use.
Warranty for Motor and Battery
An important aspect of Wuling’s product lineup in the Nepali market is its long-term warranty facility. Wuling provides a warranty of eight years or 150,000 kilometres for both the traction motor and the high-voltage battery, on whichever comes first basis.
At a time when the long-term reliability of the battery and electric motor is an important consideration for customers purchasing electric vehicles, such a warranty facility is expected to provide greater confidence in the long-term ownership experience of the vehicle.
