Kathmandu, August 30: Ncell has restored 24 of the 27 mobile sites disrupted by the recent disaster in Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading, significantly improving mobile connectivity in the affected areas.According to Ncell’s latest update, three sites remain out of operation. Two sites are suspected to have suffered infrastructure damage—one in Nuwakot and another in Timure, Rasuwagadhi, Rasuwa. The third site in Rasuwa is awaiting an airlift for restoration.
Ncell has a total of 78 sites across Rasuwa, Dhading and Nuwakot, of which 75 are currently operational.In Nuwakot, all 16 affected sites have been restored. The restored sites include towers in Hun, Kalikasthan, Chowrtol, Chuli, Battar, Bidur, Due Piple, Taruk, Made Danda, Khadkabhanjyang, Mahamandal, Gujetar, Deurali, Battar Bazaar and Pipaltar, among others.
