Birtamode, 14 November.The Deepal S05—an electric SUV perfected by luxury, style, and advanced technology—has been officially launched in Birtamode. MAW Vriddhi, the authorized distributor of Nepal’s futuristic and intelligent EV brand Deepal, unveiled the vehicle during a special ceremony held on Thursday in the central hub of Koshi Province.

The launch event was graced by the Mayor of Birtamode Municipality, Pavitra Mahatara; President of the Birtamode Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Raju Nyaupane; Managing Director of MAW Vriddhi, Vivek Sikaria; Chairman of RA Motors (Deepal Birtamode), Rajendra Thapa; and Managing Director of RA Motors, Anusthan Thapa, who collectively revealed the new Deepal S05 to the public.Within just a few weeks of its introduction in Nepal, the Deepal S05 has already surpassed two hundred units in sales, positioning itself as a new benchmark for Eastern Nepal’s rapidly evolving EV market. 

The S05 comes equipped with CATL’s Golden Shield Battery System 2.0, designed by the world’s largest battery manufacturer. This advanced battery delivers an impressive lifespan of five thousand charging cycles, equivalent to six hundred thousand kilometers of driving.
The Deepal S05 offers an array of comfort and technology features that elevate the driving experience to a new level. Both front seats are welcoming, ventilated and heated, while the Queen Co-Pilot Seat provides a zero-gravity position, leg support, and a one-touch nap mode for unmatched passenger comfort. 

The vehicle also includes a segment-exclusive remote in-and-out parking system, allowing the driver

to move the car forward or backward using the key. For the first time in this segment, an Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR-HUD) is provided, projecting live navigation and essential driving information directly onto the windshield. A 14.4-inch Sunflower touchscreen with full internet connectivity further enhances convenience and engagement inside the cabin.

Meanwhile, a new state-of-the-art Deepal showroom was inaugurated in Birtamode. RA Motors will now be responsible for the sales and after-sales services of Deepal’s advanced EV lineup in the region. Marking this milestone, a three-day Special Test Drive and Exchange Camp has commenced, offering visitors a chance to experience the brand’s flagship products up close.

During the event, customers can test drive Deepal’s most advanced EVs, including the highly connected Deepal S07 ICA, the stylish L07 sedan, the ultra-premium luxury SUV Avatr 11, and the recently launched Deepal S05, which has been generating significant attention in the auto market. The exchange program provides customers with the best valuation for their old vehicles along with special offers such as cash discounts on select Deepal models, free road tax and insurance, and a complimentary travel charger.

Adding to the excitement, the event also features displays of Deepal’s cutting-edge humanoid robot and robot dog.
