Kathmandu, Nepal - 8th September, 2026 - On 26 August, a devastating flash flood swept through Rasuwa and other parts of the country, leaving families without homes, belongings, and in many cases, loved ones. In the days since, the scale of loss has become clearer, and so has the need for support to reach those who have lost almost everything. In response, Yamaha Nepal family along with its 2-Wheeler Yamaha division, dealers, and riders, have come together to contribute towards relief efforts for the families affected.
Yamaha Nepal and its authorized dealerships across the country jointly contributed Rs. 15,00,000/- from Yamaha Dealer’s Solidarity Fund, choosing to act together in a moment that called for unity. Similarly, the GenZ team from the Yamaha division also earlier contributed Rs. 15,000 from their own personal savings, a gesture that reflects just how deeply this tragedy has touched people at every level.
Showing up for your nation and community in times like this is what matters the most. The Yamaha Nepal family, too, felt this responsibility deeply, and chose to step up and contribute back in any ways possible. The entire Yamaha Nepal family hopes that this combined effort reaches the people who need it, and offers some comfort during a time when comfort is hard to find.As recovery continues, Yamaha Nepal remains committed to standing with Nepal, in whatever way they can, for as long as it takes for these communities to find their footing again.
