Kathmandu, Nepal - 30th August, 2026 - Nepal has recently been through one of its most difficult times, as flash floods swept through Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun, Nawalparasi, Chitwan, and other cities of the country, leaving many families without homes, livelihoods, and, in some cases, loved ones. At this moment of grief and hardship, MAW Group has donated Rs. 1,11,00,000 (Rupees One Crore Eleven Lakhs) to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund, standing beside the people of Nepal as the country works to recover.
The scale of loss caused by the flash floods has touched communities across the nation, and the road to recovery will not be easy. The Prime Minister’s Relief Fund exists to bring urgent support to those affected, and MAW Group hopes this contribution will help provide some comfort and relief to families rebuilding their lives.
Speaking on the contribution, Chairman of MAW Group, Mr. Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, said, “In times like this, the company has always tried to move forward and stand with the nation and its people in whatever way we can.” He added, “No contribution can undo the pain of what people have lost, but MAW Group hopes this gesture offers some support during an incredibly hard time.”
